EBS creating a sense of security

New feature in EBS transmitters with ublox LEON-G100 GSM modems allows on GSM jamming detection. The notification is sending in two cases - jamming ON and jamming OFF. 

EBS transmitters can be configured to detect GSM jamming signals. When jamming is detect, the transmitter signal this state by switching outputs and/or send a notification to the monitoring center or a private user.

Alarm signals can be sent as a SMS message to the listed phone numbers, depending on chosen settings by transmitter configuration. For a defined list of events has been added bookmark Jamming, which is responsible for sending SMS messages. Messages are sent in two cases: Jamming On and Jamming Off.
 
GSM jamming detection allows on:

• early detection of tamper attempts
• identification of the causes of GSM signal loss
• more secure data transmission of alarm
• notification of monitoring station or private users about

In order to use the functions described here below requirements must be met:

• Firmware loaded to the transmitter must be 1.11rc48 or above
• GPRS transmitters configurator application version 1.3.6.3 or above
• OSM.2007 application version 1.3.6.4 or above
• OSM.2007 Console application version 1.2.149 or above (included in the installation package OSM.2007 1.3.6.4)
